NOWA PŁYTA !!!!!

It was the BEST of times. It was the worst of times. Hard to believe its been seven years, four albums, three vmas, two bulldogs, one baby, hundreds of shows, thousands of miles, millions of downloads. JAY-Z gave us Roc-a-fella chains and introduced us as his favorite rock band at Roseland. Damn.

This album feels like our high school graduation yearbook. Kinda makes us wanna write "don't ever change" or "have a great summer" here.

For those of you there from the beginning at the Knights of Columbus to those of you just saw us for the first time on the Blink 182 tour - the best is yet to come.

NOWA PŁYTA !!!!!

Fall Out Boy oficjalnie ogłosili, że w listopadzie ukaże się płyta z największymi przebojami zespołu zatytułowana 'Believers Never Die-Greatest Hits' . Album oprócz 14 dobrze już znanych utworów będzie zawierał również dwa nowe nagrania. Singlem promującym wydawnictwo będzie "AlphaDog" - nowa wersja piosenki, której demo znalazło się na 'CitizensFOB Mixtape'. Już teraz można posłuchać fragmentu TUTAJ, a pełna wersja trafi do nas 26 października.
Data premiery samej płyty nie jest jeszcze dokładnie znana.

September 15, 2009 – Joe Wilson vs. Kanye West

Joe Wilson thinks the proposed health care reform would provide health care to illegal immigrants in spite of the already enacted Persona; Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 already prohibits illegal immigrants from utilizing federal programs. This also misleads in implying that there us something in the proposed health care reform that suggests illegal immigrants would be allowed to receive treatment, which is false on Joe Wilson’s part. Furthermore, there would be no reason to write into an act what was already written into another, I.E. to further illegalize that with is already illegal on a federal level.

Kanye West thinks Beyonce, who’s video “Single Ladies,” was great.

Joe Wilson refuses to apologize more than once for interrupting the undisputed elected President of the United States of America by insinuating that he was lying in the middle of his speech, a feat hitherto unheard of in American politics. While rightly more apologies would simply distract from the debate at hand, the public pronouncing of the end to his apologies also distracts from the debate and instead belies a strong partisanship and lack of desire for compromise.

Kanye West has, to date, apologized at least three times publicly (and countless times privately).

Joe Wilson is an elected official.

Kanye West was drunk.

Please stop comparing the two, and if you must be outraged by someone, regardless of your politics please be outraged by Joe Wilson. What he did shows a profound disrespect for the office he holds as well as the office of president. What Kanye did was simply a stupid drunken act of a stupid drunken citizen. I will always remain a fan of his music, just not always a fan of his actions. That said I’m not sure Kanye is currently a fan of his own actions and I’m not always a fan of my own.

As for Taylor Swift, I never take my hat off but hats off to you. If you keep writing songs like that you’ll have way more award acceptance speeches to look forward to.

PS. On an unrelated note, I have elected to no longer update this site in a blog capacity (as you may have already noticed with the above being a final exception). Pierwszy wpis od niepamiętnych czasów ;) I trzeba przyznać, że lekko zakręcony.
Niestety nie miałam na razie czasu żeby przysiąść i dokładnie przetłumaczyć. Jak znajdę chwilę to postaram się coś z tym zrobić.

Wszystko pięknie, ale zastanawia mnie tylko jedna rzecz - gdzie podziewa się Patrick ? ^^

MTV VMA 2009.

Jak pewnie wszyscy wiedzą Fall Out Boy nie zdobyli moonmana za najlepszy teledysk rockowy. Pokonał ich Green Day i wideo do "21 guns". Jednak nie załamał ich ten fakt, wręcz przeciwnie, Pete twierdzi, że porażka z GD to zaszczyt. Chłopaki dali wyraz tego już na gali, kiedy po ogłoszeniu wyników oklaskiwali Armstronga, Dirnta i Coola na stojąco.
(osobiście strasznie podobał mi się ten obrazek ;D).
Cała gala była niezbyt ciekawa - patrząc z perspektywy fana FOB. Pete zapowiedział razem z Gabe'm z Cobry Starship występ Lady Gagi a w czasie koncertu Green Day'a po tym jak Billie zachęcił do tego publiczność wbiegł na scenę razem z grupą ludzi (szczęście jakie miał wtedy na twarzy autentycznie mnie rozwaliło :D).
No i to by było na tyle.
Miejmy nadzieję że za rok będzie znacznie ciekawiej ;)
